2023 IRSSA Mentorship Programme

The IRSSA is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of its inaugural Mentorship Programme in 2023, which saw three accomplished mentors and three dedicated mentees come together to enhance their professional growth and contribute to the development of the Investor Relations field.

The Mentorship Programme, launched earlier this year, aimed to foster a nurturing environment for knowledge exchange and guidance within the Investor Relations community. The programme encouraged experienced professionals to support and guide emerging talent, ultimately enriching the industry.

Mentorship plays a pivotal role in nurturing talent, guiding careers, and shaping the future of the Investor Relations profession. IRSSA is proud to facilitate this opportunity for industry professionals to come together, learn from one another, and contribute to the advancement of the profession.

The program focused on building essential skills, sharing industry insights, and creating valuable connections within the Investor Relations landscape.

Key Highlights of the IRSSA Mentorship Programme in 2023:

“What it takes to be an Investor Relations Officer”
This year’s programme focused on what it takes to be an Investor Relations Officer and mentees were tasked with selecting primary areas of focus to facilitate meaningful discussions.

Experienced Mentors
Each mentor brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the programme. The mentors were committed to sharing their insights and expertise, offering invaluable guidance to their mentees.

Tailored Mentorship
The program was designed to be flexible and dynamic, allowing mentees to meet their specific needs and objectives.

Knowledge sharing and professional development
The programme facilitated the exchange of best practices in the field of investor relations and mentees received guidance and support in their professional journeys by addressing specific career objectives.
